Donate, volunteer, or simply stay informed - you can help & contribute to SSVA in many ways.
Donate Money
You monetary donations help us provide for veterans in need. Whether it's supporting local food pantries, investing in accessibility ramps & electric wheel chairs, or sourcing new clothes & jackets, ALL of your financial contributions get put to good work.
Donate Items
If you have a ramp or a gently used wheelchair or scooter you would like to donate, please contact us. Please include pictures of the item if possible, so we can better assess if we are able to accept and re-home it. We are unable to accept wooden ramps.
We also collect new socks, underwear, sweats, gloves, and coats (both men's and women's) for distribution to those in need. Please contact us to learn how to donate these much needed items.
If you have food items to donate, please contact your local food pantry directly. They're always looking for donations!
Volunteer
Most of our workforce is comprised of volunteers. If you have a few free hours that you can dedicate to others, or a skill that can be shared, we will be happy to channel it in the right direction.
